About Islam

Welcome to the NDO PDF Print Email id:

The National Dawah Organisation (NDO), is a UK based non-profit organisation and was established over ten years ago. It promotes Islamic Dawah - the proper presentation, understanding and appreciation of Islam, as well as removing misconceptions about Islam amongst less aware Muslims and non-Muslims.  Through this site we aim to keep you updated on all the upcoming Islamic events and current activities.  Furthermore, we have qualified Islamic scholars who are able to answer all your general or specific questions related to religion.  Feel free to join our online community by joining our online Islamic forum.

As a voluntary organisation based in Keighley, West Yorkshire, we organise events at local and regional levels to improve the understanding of the Muslim beliefs & practices, Islamic teachings, Islamic information, Islamic knowledge. This includes running daily educational classes for the young, weekly activities for teenagers, youth and male/ female adults, seminars for Muslims and other faith communities, exhibitions at schools and libraries, as well as facilitating visits to Mosques (Masajid) and working with interfaith groups throughout the Yorkshire region.

Our doors are open to all, irrespective of individual belief, and we are always encouraging people to come forward and to join us in helping others – Muslims and non-Muslims alike. We hope this site gives you the information that you are looking for and that you will visit us again. Please also feel free to comment on the site and, if you prefer, on the organisation by any of the means listed under Contact Us or on This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .
