Welcome to the NDO
The National Dawah Organisation (NDO), is a UK based non-profit organisation and was established over ten years ago. It promotes Islamic Dawah - the proper presentation, understanding and appreciation of Islam, as well as removing misconceptions about Islam amongst less aware Muslims and non-Muslims.  Through this site we aim to keep you updated on all the upcoming Islamic events and current activities.  Furthermore, we have qualified Islamic scholars who are able to answer all your general or specific questions related to religion.  Feel free to join our online community by joining our online Islamic forum.

Current News

Utley Primary School - The Jamiat's aim is to have an Islamic Primary School in Keighley is near. We need all our muslim brother and sisters to donate to this rewarding campaign and help us to establish the first Islamic school in keighley.

We have raised £50,000 and urgently need another £50,000 to complete the refurbishment of the school. All the windows have been fitted, roof has been repaired, electrical work has been done....

An urgent appeal has been launched by a group of Muslims in Keighley for donations towards the purchase of a closed down school which will be reopened as the first Islamic School in Keighley, West Yorkshire.

Ayah Of The Week

Say: "Unto whom belongs all that is in the heavens and on earth?" Say: "Unto God, who has willed upon Himself the law of grace and mercy. He will assuredly gather you all together on the Day of Resurrection, [the coming of] which is beyond all doubt: yet those who have squandered their own selves-it is they who refuse to believe [in Him],

{Surah Al-An'am (The Cattle) 6:Ayah 12}

Qul liman ma fee alssamawati waalardi qul lillahi kataba AAala nafsihi alrrahmata layajmaAAannakum ila yawmi alqiyamati la rayba feehi allatheena khasiroo anfusahum fahum la yuminoona

Hadeeth of the Week

Narrated Abu Huraira:

Allah's Apostle (sallallahu alayhi wa salam) said, "The best alms is that which you give when you are rich, and you should start first to support your dependants."

(Sahih Bukhari, Book 64, Number 269)

Dua of the week

Prayers upon the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa salam) after the tashahhud

‘O Allah, send prayers upon Muhammad and the followers of Muhammad, just as You sent prayers upon Ibraheem and upon the followers of Ibraheem. Verily, You are full of praise and majesty. O Allah, send blessings upon Mohammad and upon the family of Muhammad, just as You sent blessings upon Ibraheem and upon the family of Ibraheem. Verily, You are full of praise and majesty.’ send prayers: praise and exalt him in the highest and superior of gatherings: that of the closest angels to Allah.

Allahumma salli AAala Muhammad, wa-AAala ali Muhammad, kama sallayta AAala Ibraheema wa-AAala ali Ibraheem, innaka Hameedun Majeed, allahumma barik AAala Muhammad, wa-AAala ali Muhammad, kama barakta AAala Ibraheema wa-AAala ali Ibraheem, innaka Hameedun Majeed.

(al) has been translated in it’s broadest sense: some scholars are of the view that the meaning here is more specific and that it means: his (saw) followers from among his family.
Reminder of the week
Speak politely to your parents and learn to appreciate all they do for you.
